Those of you who have been to the “My Music” section lately might notice something a little different. The “free download” link on all the songs is gone.

Well, not exactly.

To make things easier all around, I’m instituting a “pay what you want” policy.

“But what if I don’t want to pay anything?” you ask.

Yes, you can even choose to pay nothing. Just enter “0″ when it asks you to name your price. No, I’m not the first one to think of this (Radiohead popularized the concept), but I think it’s a great idea regardless of originality.

I’ve also bumped up the quality. The “standard” 128kbps MP3 is no more – 320 is the minimum. Techy translation for those of you who have no idea what that means: the songs now sound better.

“Why are you doing this?” you might also ask.

Because I like you. Because I’m crazy. Because I can. Because I don’t want money to get in the way of people hearing music. Choose whichever answer sounds best to you, and above all, enjoy listening!
